geography
Source de la Bèze
The Source de la Bèze (German source of the Bèze ) is located in the middle of the village of Bèze. This strong karst spring was the reason for the settlement of the area and the creation of the place. Their discharge is an average of 3810 liters per second and can rise to 18,000 l / s. The spring water of the Source de la Bèze comes from the nearby rivers Tille and Venelle , some of which seep away in the northwest. The spring was placed in a semicircular basin about 20 meters wide, in which a strong bubbling occurs when the water is filled.
course
The Bèze runs mainly in a south-easterly direction. In Mirebeau-sur-Bèze, it crosses Départementstrasse 70. South of Vonges, it flows into the Saône as a right tributary .
