The South Seal River is the right source of the Seal River in the north of the Canadian province of Manitoba .

The South Seal River forms the drain of Big Sand Lake . It flows through the Sand Lakes Provincial Wilderness Park in an easterly direction to Chipewyan Lake , which it leaves in a northerly direction. It continues its course north and flows through Tadoule Lake . It then passes the small Negassa Lake and flows into Shethanei Lake when coming from the south .

The South Seal River has a length of about 200 km. He overcomes a height difference of 55 m. The river runs in the area of ​​the Canadian Shield in largely unpopulated area. The only place on the river is the settlement of Tadoule Lake .
