The South Seal River is the right source of the Seal River in the north of the Canadian province of Manitoba .
The South Seal River forms the drain of Big Sand Lake . It flows through the Sand Lakes Provincial Wilderness Park in an easterly direction to Chipewyan Lake , which it leaves in a northerly direction. It continues its course north and flows through Tadoule Lake . It then passes the small Negassa Lake and flows into Shethanei Lake when coming from the south .
The South Seal River has a length of about 200 km. He overcomes a height difference of 55 m. The river runs in the area of the Canadian Shield in largely unpopulated area. The only place on the river is the settlement of Tadoule Lake .
