history

After the outbreak of the Second World War, the 1st district class was dissolved and all teams in the district were transferred to the 2nd district class . For the 1944/45 season of the Gauliga Mitte , the team was grouped in the Köthen-Bernburg district . However, as the Second World War progressed , the season was not played to the end. There are no records of games played or the team's placements. It is known that some Germania Cöthen players still supported the game association as guest players from July 1944.
