Spacehog is an English rock band that formed in 1993, split up in 2002 and then reunited in 2006.
history
The band was formed in New York City in 1993 when drummer Jonny Cragg and guitarist Antony Landon met there by chance. Both came from Leeds , England. The two started making music together. Eventually, Antony's brother Royston and guitarist Richard Steel joined the band. Shortly afterwards they were able to get a record deal with Sire Records and in 1995 released their debut album "Resident Alien". From this her most famous single "In the Meantime" was decoupled. In 1998 the album "The Chinese Album" was released, in 2001 the album "The Hogyssey". The band then split up to continue working on other projects. In 2008 there was a reunion for two concerts and a new album was announced.
