Royston Langdon

Royston Langdon (born May 1, 1972 in Leeds , England ) is a musician in the band Spacehog , in which he is the lead singer and plays bass . He was married to actress Liv Tyler until May 2008 .

Career

Even as a young boy he was very interested in music and at the age of seven was already a member of a choir with his brother Anthony. In 1994 he founded the band Spacehog with Anthony. A short time later, the band got their first record deal in New York . The first album came out in 1995 and the second in 1998. Spacehog went on tour with well known bands like Oasis , but in 2002, after 3 albums, the band split up. Langdon then founded a new band, which broke up again in 2006. From 2005 to 2008 he played in the rock band Arckid before Spacehog reunited in 2008.

In February 1998, Langdon met Liv Tyler, whom he married on March 25, 2003. Their son was born in December 2004. On May 8, 2008, the couple announced their separation.
