The Spain Peak is a 1450 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises in the Saint Johns Range on the west side of the Deshler Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 2005 after Ray Spain, who was involved in 22 deployment missions between 1979 and 2004 for the construction and supply of research stations throughout Antarctica as part of the United States Antarctic Program .
