The Deshler Valley is a largely ice-free valley in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies between the Spain Peak and the Morse Spur in the Saint Johns Range . To the south the valley opens to the Victoria Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2005 after the US atmospheric researcher Terry Deshler of the University of Wyoming , who was involved in 13 campaigns of the United States Antarctic Program between 1990 and 2004 to explore the ozone hole over Antarctica.
