The Spanish Vallan (popularly also called "Vallan") is a listed residential tower in the city park of Rheinberg on the Lower Rhine in North Rhine-Westphalia . The hexagonal building is seven meters high and is used at times as a cultural center.

The Spanish Vallan was built around a hundred meters southwest of the outer wall between the 17th and 18th centuries on an artificial mound, which consists of the remains of the former Rheinberg city fortifications that were preserved after the razing . Later he was temporarily included in the isolation ward of a hospital surrounding him, after the Second World War the Vallan was mainly used as a residential tower. Around 1960 it was integrated into the city park. In 2008 the roof was renovated and the heating system renewed.

In March 1983 the Spanish Vallan was added to the city 's list of monuments and registered as a monument with number 18. In addition to being registered as an individual monument, since 1997 it has also been part of the monument area no. 3 “Stadtpark Rheinberg”.

Since October 2018, it has been refurbished in accordance with a listed building.
