Keith Hall

Keith Hall (born January 9, 1929 in Newcastle upon Tyne ) is a retired British automobile driver .

Career

Keith Hall competed in monoposto and sports car races in the 1950s . He competed in the British Formula 3 championship with vehicles from Cooper and Lotus and was able to achieve several racing victories in 1954 and 1955.

Success in sports car races in Great Britain earned him a Lotus works engagement at the Le Mans 24-hour race in 1956 . His partner in the Lotus Eleven was Cliff Allison . He could not finish the race because Allison had to retire after an accident caused by a dog running across the track. In 1957 he came back to Le Mans, finished 14th in the overall standings and celebrated a class victory.
