Theodor Kleemann became rendant and moved the savings bank to his private house at Sielstrasse 4. The first employee was hired, the savings bank opened daily.

The growth, a larger customer base and the addition of new lines of business gave rise to the construction of the first own savings bank building. In 1914 it was inaugurated on Bahnhofstrasse at the corner of Charlottenstrasse - today's Dr.-Neuhäußer-Strasse. The headquarters of the Sparkasse Bad Oeynhausen - Porta Westfalica are still located here today. All other four branches were up to this point in the houses of the respective renter. In 1927 the first branch was set up at Schulstrasse 27. In 1930 the second was added at Mindener Strasse 16.
