The Splettstoesser Glacier is a 8 km long and 1.5 km wide glacier on the Graham Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Strescher Peninsula, it flows from the Widmark-Piedmont Glacier in a northerly direction to Crates Bay , a side bay of Holtedahl Bay , which it reaches south of Conway Island .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2016. It is named after the American geologist John Splettstoesser (1934-2016), who worked in Antarctica from 1960 to 1986 .
