The Widmark Piedmont Glacier is a foreland glacier off the Graham Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located between Holtedahl Bay and Darbel Bay .
Aerial photos by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1955 to 1957 were used by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey for mapping. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the glacier in 1959 after the Swedish ophthalmologist Eric John Widmark (1850–1909), a pioneer in the field of the development and treatment of snow blindness .
