Sport BZ

The sports BZ was the first attempt in Germany on the model of Marca (Spain), L'Equipe (France) and Gazzetta dello Sport (Italy), a daily sports - daily newspaper to establish. The newspaper was published by Axel Springer Verlag and was mainly used by sports editors for the publisher's own tabloid B.Z. created.

The first edition was published for the 2006 World Cup in Germany and was only distributed in the Berlin area . From August 8, 2006 the newspaper continued with an initial circulation of 50,000 copies. The Sport-BZ was published on weekdays and, in addition to Berlin, was also available in Brandenburg and parts of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . On December 22, 2006, she was reinstated.
