The sports team Rechberghausen e. V. is a sports club in the district of Göppingen with a focus on endurance sports such as long-distance running , duathlon and triathlon and OCR (Obstacle Course Racing) . The team is registered under the competition name Sparda-Team Rechberghausen with the two relevant associations, the Württemberg Athletics Association (WLV) and the Baden-Württemberg Triathlon Association (BWTV) .

The longstanding name and main sponsor is Sparda-Bank Baden-Württemberg .

Regular events

The Sparda team in Rechberghausen organizes the Rechberghausen summer night run at the end of July / beginning of August and the Uhingen 24-hour charity run at the end of September. The Rechberghausen summer night run for the Sparda-Bank-Pokal, which is organized together with the municipality of Rechberghausen, will take place for the ninth time in 2020. The Uhingen 24-hour charity run will be held for the 26th time in total and for the 4th time as a 24-hour obstacle run (24h OCR) in 2020. Co-organizers of this event are the city ​​of Uhingen , the Uhingen trade and industry association, the Uhingen volunteer fire brigade and the ZRS-Agentur GmbH Stuttgart.

The Sparda team celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2019. His career began in 1994 with the athletics department of TSV Adelberg-Oberberken and continued in 2001 in the newly founded "Sport-Team Rechberghausen eV".
