history

Sport-Tiedje was founded in 1984 by former Bundesliga table tennis player Ulrich Tiedje (* January 20, 1957 - November 18, 2015) as a stationary sports shop in Schleswig. In 2001 Ulrich Tiedje and Christian Grau founded Sport-Tiedje GmbH as partners with equal rights. In addition to online shops in different languages, Sport-Tiedje has opened further branches in Europe since 2003. Company founder Ulrich Tiedje left the company in 2011.
