Sports Billy is an animated television series produced by the American studio Filmation .

content

The boy sports Billy travels with his girlfriend Lilly and the dog Willy on behalf of the planet Olympus through space and time to defend fair play in the world of sports on earth . Your opponent is the evil Queen Vanda from the planet Vandalusien. Supported by her gnomish servant Sipe and her horde, the vandals, she tries relentlessly to sabotage sporting events on earth and prevent the heroes' mission.

The Olympians Billy, Lilly and Willy use an alarm clock-shaped spaceship , the so-called time ship , which allows them not only space travel but also time travel to the past and future . Via the time ship they can also communicate with Olympus, whose intelligent computer supplies them with information about Vanda's plans. Billy also has a “trick bag” known as a surprise bag, which apparently contains an infinite number of supernatural aids, such as winged shoes. Vanda too has supernatural tools and the ability to send her minions on space and time travel. Via her monitor, she always gets an insight into what is happening on earth and at other scenes.

The race between Olympians and Vandalusians takes place across time and space. Time and again, Billy and his friends have to eliminate Vanda's sabotages in the past in order to prevent the triumph of unsportingness in the present. Journeys into the future are occasionally necessary, but in the end fair play always wins.
