Sport der Wehrmacht - magazine for sport and knowledge in the army, air force and navy was a German trade magazine . It was published from 1932 to 1938 by the Sport-Wehrmacht-Verlag in Stuttgart and was the successor to the Reichswehr-Sport magazine published in 1931 and 1932 - a specialist journal for all sports in the army and navy .
Sport of the Wehrmacht saw itself as a “mediator between the army and the people”. Reports were made on various sporting events and questions relating to official and off-duty sport, with members of the Wehrmacht - especially sport officers and sport teachers - expressly encouraged to cooperate. The magazine appeared twice a month and there was a monthly supplement.
