The Sprent River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source on the western slopes of The Twins on the western border of Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park . It flows first north and then east along the King Billy Range . About one kilometer south of the settlement Grinings Landing opens the Sprent River in the Gordon River .
