Springvale South is a district of the Australian metropolis Melbourne . It is located about 28.5 km southeast of the city center in the administrative area City of Greater Dandenong . The district is about 4.6 km² and has 12,768 inhabitants (as of 2011). It is east of Dingley Village , south of Springvale , west of Noble Park and north of Keysborough . The main thoroughfares are Westall and Springvale Road.

The Springvale South post office opened on November 4, 1926.
