The Sputnik Nunatak ( Russian Нунатак Спутник Nunatak Sputnik ) is a Nunatak in the East Antarctic Mac-Robertson Land . In the Aramis Range of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises in a group of nunataks south of Mount Afflick .
Russian scientists named it after the Sputnik satellite.
