Srinivasa Ayya Srinivasan

Srinivasa Ayya Srinivasan (born September 18, 1932 - May 2, 2019 ) was an Indian Indologist .

Life

After graduating as Dr. phil. in Hamburg in 1967 he was a private lecturer in Indology from 1973 to 1977 and from 1977 to his retirement in 1997 he was professor for culture and history of modern South Asia at the Institute for Culture and History of India and Tibet at the University of Hamburg .
