Stéphane Heuet

Stéphane Heuet (* 1957 in Brest , Finistère département in Brittany ) is a French comic artist and author .

Life

Heuet is the son of an officer in the French Navy and a lover of the sea. He traveled the world himself for years before turning to comics .

Since 1998 Heuet has been working on a comic adaptation of Marcel Proust's work In Search of Lost Time (French: À la recherche du temps perdu ). By 2012, six volumes in French had been completed, of which all six had been published in German by 2014.

In 2010, Éditions Arthaud published a work with 16 seafaring stories from world literature , retold by Heuet and published with 150 drawings, maps and watercolors.
