Stürnitze
The sturnitze was a unit of volume and a Saxon honey measure . The word Stürnitze is derived from the Slavic styrnace , means "fourteen" in Russian and indicates the relationship to Fuder . Equivalent terms are sternize, sturnace, starch nitze and sturnitze. The measure was already mentioned in a document from 1288.
