St-Germain in Dommerville

The Catholic Church of St-Germain in Dommerville , a district of the French commune of Angerville in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was built from the 12th century. The church is dedicated to St. Germanus of Auxerre .

The hall structure of limestone on the Rue de la Plaine, right next to the castle Dommerville , has strong buttresses . The arched portal dates from the 15th century. The roof turret with bell was renewed in 1845.

The landlord and owner of the castle, the Marquis de Hallot, had his own entrance into the church to his patron's box .

There are two well-preserved leaded glass windows in the church , created in 1905 by Henri Carot . They represent Saint Joseph and Saint Dionysius .
