St-Pierre-St-Paul (St. Peter and Paul) is a Roman Catholic church in Thal-Marmoutier ( Bas-Rhin department ) in France . The church is inscribed on the French Heritage Inventory.

history

The church, consecrated to Saints Peter and Paul , goes back to a Romanesque building from the second half of the 12th century, the choir tower of which has been preserved. The rich pilaster strips and arched frieze structure of the tower is related to the choir tower of Reutenbourg . The sacristy is dated 1762, the neoclassical nave was rebuilt in 1836. At this time the Romanesque tower was probably raised.
