The Roman Catholic Church of St-Pierre in Boussy-Saint-Antoine , a French commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the 16th century.

architecture

The late Gothic building on the Place des Droits-de-l'Homme has a rectangular tower on the north side, which is covered by a tent roof. In the 19th century the sacristy was added to the tower and a chapel was added to the south side of the church. The east-facing church made of quarry stone was also reinforced with the buttresses .

Furnishing

Of the church furnishings , two sculptures of the Madonna with Child Jesus (made of wood and marble) from the 14th century are worth mentioning. The polychrome sculpture of the apostle Peter from the 17th century is only preserved with damaged arms.
