Saint-Vincent-de-Xaintes is a neo-Romanesque church in Dax in the French department of Landes . It is located southwest of Dax Cathedral, about 800 m away on the square of the same name and bears the name of the first Bishop of Dax (3rd century), who is venerated as a saint and martyr . Next to the church is the Dominican monastery .

The church stands on the spot where Saint Vincent-de-Xaintes is said to have been martyred. Previous buildings were a Gallo-Roman temple and a basilica from the 11th century.

Two memorial plaques hang in the entrance area of ​​the church . The western reports (in French): This church was built in 1892 and 1893 with the financial help of the community and the generous donations of the faithful. Milliés-Lacroix was mayor of Dax , Charles Dulau was pastor of Saint-Vincent des Xaintes. The building plans were designed by the city architect Edmont Ricard.

The Eastern reports that the church was built on November 19, 1893 under the pontificate of Leo XIII. was inaugurated by the Bishop of Aire and Dax, accompanied by many clergymen and in the presence of civil authorities and with a large procession of the faithful. The organ of the church was inaugurated on the same day.
