Architecture and history
The representative four and a half storey house was built for Franz Weineck in 1887 on the site of a previous building built in the 1860s. The brick building is designed in the neo-renaissance style. On the ground floor of the eight-axis facade there is rustication made from plaster . Above the windows of the first floor there are segmented arched gables, on the second floor there are triangular gables. The two central axes emerge as a flat risalit and are accentuated with coupled windows and Hermes pilasters. There is a noticeable roof overhang at the top of the building.
Together with the St-Michael-Straße 5, 10 , 13 and 14 , it is one of the striking evidence for the late nineteenth building the road. There is a special contrast to the smaller older buildings from the mid-19th century.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 76648 .
