St. Stephen's Church (Schleibnitz)
The Sankt-Stephanus-Kirche is the Protestant church of the village Schleibnitz in Saxony-Anhalt , which belongs to Wanzleben-Börde .
architecture
The church building was built in 1887 in the neo-Romanesque style. The single-nave church with a semicircular apse on the east side was built with cut rubble stones .
The nave consists of three yokes and has a ridge vault . The furnishings of the church are from the time it was built. Paintings in the dome of the apse show Christ in the mandorla together with symbols of the evangelists. Scenes from the Bible in the form of medallions adorn the triumphal arch.
