The St. Dionysius Church is an Evangelical Lutheran church on the Kirch throws in Dagebüll Church, a district of the municipality of Dagebüll in Schleswig-Holstein .

history

The current church was built in 1731. It took its name from a dilapidated chapel that no longer took account of the size of the community and was demolished in April of that year as part of the renovation. The new church was consecrated on September 16, 1731. Since then it has been rebuilt several times: in 1860 and 1863 the thatched roof was replaced by a slate roof in two stages, the western wall was renewed in 1892 and in 1909 the wooden bell tower was replaced by a massive western tower.

In 1866 parishioners donated an organ to the church.
