St. Emmeram (Harpolden)

The St. Emmeram branch church is the Catholic village church of Harpolden , a district of the municipality of Egglkofen (Upper Bavaria).

history

The church was built in the 14th century in the Gothic style. In the early 18th century, the baroque extension of the nave took place. At the same time a sacristy was added.

description

The retracted square choir is spanned by a cross vault . The nave is flat-roofed. On the west side of the church tower with a pointed dome, which is divided by two offset corner struts. Its upper part has been renewed.

The church has a walled cemetery.
