Harpolden is a district of the Egglkofen municipality in the Mühldorf am Inn district in Bavaria.
history
Harpolden was the seat of an aristocratic Hofmark , which was exchanged in 1387 by Duke Albrecht II of Bavaria-Straubing for his cousin Duke Friedrich von Bayern-Landshut . The Church of St. Emmeram was built in the 14th century in the Gothic style. In the early 18th century, the baroque extension of the nave took place. From 1818 to 1934 the place was a separate municipality. On July 1, 1934, the previously independent community was incorporated into Egglkofen.
