St. Gertrud is a Roman Catholic church consecrated in 1956 at Weyprechtstraße 75 on Munich's Harthof , east of Harthofanger . It is part of the Munich Cultural History Trail .

In 1963 the St. Gertrud Curate was elevated to an independent parish . In 1964 the church, parish center and parish kindergarten were established .

In 1978 the church was renovated. The front chancel was redesigned as a weekday church. A year later the new Spaeth organ - 28 registers, 1722 pipes - was inaugurated. In September 2000, Polish Dominican Fathers from the St. Albert Monastery in Freimann took over pastoral care in St. Gertrud.

There is a fresco by Karl Manninger on the outer facade above the main portal . It shows the "works of his mercy". The interior of the church receives a metal cross by the artist J. Dumanski, from the Eucharistic World Congress , which took place in Munich in 1960.
