St. Jacobus (Oberthau)
St. Jacobus is a listed church ruin in the Oberthau district of Ermlitz in the community of Schkopau in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 20389 .
The sacred building consecrated to Jacobus is located on Kirchstrasse in Oberthau. Only a few ruins of the church have survived; the roof was removed in 1996. A reconstruction during the baroque can still be seen on the remains . The church tower was not on the west side, as is customary in the area, but was on the north side of the nave .
