The interior of today's side church

St. Jakobus (Harpfetshamer Kircherl) is a chapel in the church village of Harpfetsham (Upper Bavaria). It is the place of prayer of the former Palling rectory . The building was originally built in the late Gothic style and consecrated on August 6, 1476 . Around 1700 the chapel underwent a Baroque remodeling , in line with contemporary tastes. Today it serves the Franciscan Sisters of Schönbrunn Monastery , who manage the former rectory as a monastery property.

The very stately chapel building, which is structurally connected to the courtyard building, consists of a simple three-bay nave and a retracted choir that closes off on three sides. The facade is not structured. On the western side there is a roof turret with an onion hood .

The stucco altar shows the figures of the church patron James and St. Nicholas .
