St. Koloman in Kolomann

The Roman Catholic chapel of St. Koloman in Kolomann , a district of the municipality of Fridolfing in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein , was built in the 1510s. The chapel, which stands on a ledge sloping to the north and is surrounded by forest, is a protected monument .

The late Gothic nave hall structure with skylights was the 1518 Bishop of the Diocese of Chiemsee Berthold of Chiemsee consecrated. The choir without entry is closed on three sides. The interior spans an on profiled corbels confirmed lead vault with six-pound stars. In the west there is a simple wooden gallery .

Pilgrimages to the chapel took place for centuries .
