The St. Ludgerus Church is a Roman Catholic church building in Weseke .

history

The parish of Weseke was founded at the end of the 14th century. The old village church was no longer sufficient for the growing population since the middle of the 19th century. The new church was built between 1892 and 1895 according to plans by the Münster builder Hilger Hertel as a neo - Gothic three - nave hall church with a brick transept . It was consecrated on July 11, 1895 by Bishop Hermann Dingelstad .

Furnishing

The organ was built in 1913 by the organ builder Walcker . The instrument has 27 registers on two manuals and a pedal . The playing and register actions are mechanical.
