Chapel of St. Magnus in Dezion

The Roman Catholic Chapel of St. Magnus is located in Dezion , a district of Altusried in the Oberallgäu district ( Bavaria ). The chapel is a listed building. Originally built in the 18th century, the chapel was extended by more than half in 1954. The small building consists of a barrel vault with a gable roof and turret .

The altar , created at the beginning of the 18th century, consists of twisted columns that flank the altar sheet with the representation of Our Lady . A picture of St. Ursula can be found in the triangular gable of the altar. A rococo half-figure from around 1760 is in the cafeteria . This represents Saint Agatha and probably comes from the parish church in Kimratshofen . The heavily renewed painting from the 18th century shows the Steinbach Madonna .
