The Protestant village church of St. Maria is located in the Nausiß district of the town of Weißensee in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia .

history

The bell tower with the verschieferten pointed spire is the oldest part of the temple . The nave with a mansard roof on the east side of the tower was probably added in 1660. The baroque redesign took place in the 18th century . The late baroque-classicist interior has hardly been changed.

In 2010 , the parish received funding from the KiBa Foundation for the repair of the church roof and the sponge renovation as well as the wood repair .
