Church of St. Maria Immaculata in Anhofen

The Catholic Expositurkirche St. Maria Immaculata in Anhofen , a district of the municipality Bibertal in the Swabian district of Günzburg ( Bavaria ), was built in the late Gothic period. The church on a hill above the village, surrounded by a cemetery wall, is a protected architectural monument .

description

The slightly recessed and polygonal closed choir adjoins the nave with three window axes . The last remodeling of the late Gothic building took place in the 18th century.

The choir fresco Prophecy Simeon is signed Konrad Huber and the year 1785. The fresco on the flat ceiling of the nave was created by Joseph Albrecht in 1922 .
