St. Marien (crowds)
The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Marien is a listed church building in Massen , a district of the district town of Unna ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
History and architecture
The plastered, north-facing wall pillar hall with just closed choir was built in 1931 under the direction of Karl Wibbe. The tower faces southwest. The building is equipped with a Zollinger roof covered, for exposure in both side walls lucarnes set. The pointed barrel vault rising from the floor and lanceolate openings in the pillars and the choir create an expressionistic spatial effect.
