St. Marien (Bahrendorf)
The Sankt-Marien-Kirche is a Catholic church in the district of Bahrendorf in the municipality of Sülzetal in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the center of Bahrendorf at the address Kleine Schulstrasse 2 a little north of Bahrendorf Castle and belongs to the parish of St. Bonifatius in the Egeln deanery of the Magdeburg diocese .
Architecture and history
The church was built in 1876 as a simple brick building in neo-Romanesque forms. The nave is elongated and has an apse closed on five sides on its west side . At the eastern end there is a lattice tower with a square floor plan . Renovations took place in the 1960s.
The interior of the nave is spanned by a flat ceiling. The windows of the ship are designed as large arched windows. The windows of the apse, which are semicircular inwards, are now walled up. The entrance portal is on the east side.
In the local register of monuments , the church is registered as an architectural monument under registration number 094 80865 .
