St. Martin (Görmar)
The Protestant village church of St. Martin is in the Görmar district of the district town of Mühlhausen in the Unstrut-Hainich district in Thuringia .
history
The farming village of Görmar was first mentioned on September 28, 897. The village church of St. Martin stands on the outskirts of this old village . The room of the house of God is a sight, outside and inside a gem. The church still has the beginnings of an old Romanesque central church construction. Later conversions are Gothic and Baroque and changed the appearance. But you still have the impression that you are going through a gate on the way through the nave to the apse and the altar .
