The parish church of St. Martin is the Catholic village church of the Lobsing community in Upper Bavaria .

description

It was first mentioned in a document in 1301. The current church building dates from the beginning of the 18th century. It was rebuilt using the Romanesque east tower, which at that time received a stepped gable, and expanded in 1823. The furnishings , especially the altar and the pulpit, were designed in the Rococo style. The rich stucco work was created between 1720 and 1730.

The church houses a wooden relief of St. Anne himself , which dates from the 16th century; also a small bronze chandelier from the 12th century. An epitaph from 1591 shows in relief the portrait of the father of the then pastor and Ingolstadt citizen Paul Schmidt. There is a memorial to the fallen on the outer cemetery wall.
