St. Michael in Donaustauf

St. Michael is a listed Roman Catholic parish church on Albertus-Magnus-Weg 5 in the Donaustauf market in the Regensburg district ( Bavaria ).

architecture

The church is a choir tower church with an octagonal tower with a tent roof. After the previous church was destroyed in a fire, it was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1724. The tower dates from the Middle Ages before 1388. Sections of the cemetery wall are probably from the 18th century.

Bells

The bells form a 4-part Salve-Regina chime : es'-g'-b'-c ". The three larger bells date back to 1946 and were cast by Karl Hamm in Regensburg. The small bell was made in 1951 by Georg Court weaver cast in Regensburg.

Hirnschrodt organ

The organ in its current state dates from 1952 and was built by Eduard Hirnschrodt . The 17  registers , which stand on pneumatic cone chests, are distributed over two manuals and pedal .
