The village church of St. Michael is in the Serba municipality in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish in Burgel Kirchenkreis Eisenberg of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The church is in the center of the village.

history

The spacious hall church with lodge and sacristy was built in 1619. The east tower with a curved dome was built in 1710/11. In 1870 an extension in the neo-Gothic style took place. The nave has three-row west galleries and a choir gallery with a pulpit altar from 1710/11.
