The Protestant village church St. Nikolai is located in the Kleingölitz district of the city of Bad Blankenburg in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

history

In 1465 a chapel was given to a vicar for use. In 1482 the margrave from Erfurt gave the church to the vicar.

In 1734, as part of a renovation of the existing chapel, today's church was built, which was restored in 1854.

Their equipment is modest. The nave has a wooden barrel , arched windows and rectangular doors with a lintel. A separate entrance leads to the galleries .

On the west gable which is slated roof turret with octagonal tail dome, finial and weather vane .
