The Church of Nikolai the Miraculous (on the water), ( Ukrainian Церква Миколи Чудотворця (на воді) Tserkva Mykoly Chudotworzja (na vodi) ) is the only church building in Europe that stands in the middle of the water, an architectural monument and a sight in the Ukrainian capital Kiev .

The 23-meter-high Chapel of the Cross, built between December 19, 2003 and July 7, 2004 in the Ukrainian neo-baroque style, belongs to the Kiev Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate .

The chapel is located on a concrete foundation in the middle of the Dnieper on the Podil pier near Postplatz .
