Chapel of St. Nicholas

The Catholic Chapel of St. Nikolaus is a listed church building in Frielinghausen , a district of Eslohe in the Hochsauerlandkreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

History and architecture

The simple, small hall was built in the 17th century. The 5/8 finish was later renewed; A roof turret was added to the building . Some pieces of equipment are remarkable: A crucifix is from the end of the 13th century. The enthroned bishop is probably the representation of St. Nicholas , he was carved in the middle of the 13th century. The head and hands were later renewed. The figure of St. Anna selbdritt was created around 1500.
