St. Nikolaus is a Catholic church in Langenbach , a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Freising .

The first mention of a church in Langenbach comes from the year 818. Nothing has survived from this building. The next mention of a church was only 200 years later. The first church patrons were Martin and Laurentius . These were first mentioned in a document in 1524. At the request of the residents, the Freising Bishop Joseph Clemens of Bavaria procured a new altar in 1692. The altarpiece showed Nicholas of Myra , who has been the patron of the church ever since. Today there is a figure of the saint from the Baroque period in place of the image that has not survived . The current church was built in 1737.

Since the church became too small due to the strong population growth in the community after the Second World War, a second church, the St. Nicholas von Flüe Church , was built nearby.
